Our commercial relationship
Booking links
Affiliate commissions help support this independent guide. A booking link takes you to an external provider, where you can review the experience and decide whether to make a reservation.
A commission for the website
An eligible booking made through our affiliate links may earn the website a commission. This is a financial relationship, not an official endorsement of the website by a tour operator or national park.
No extra affiliate charge
Using an affiliate link does not add a separate charge for our commission. Check the provider’s final price, selected date, currency and inclusions before paying.
Your choice of experience
A link is an option to consider, not a requirement to book. Compare the itinerary and participation rules against your own plans.
The tour collection links to Viator. Referral information in eligible links can identify this website as the source of a booking. Whether a booking earns a commission depends on the partner’s applicable arrangements.
This disclosure explains the commercial relationship. It does not promise a discount, the lowest available price or a particular departure’s availability.
Different roles, clearly separated
Where the booking happens
CrystalIceCave.com is not the tour operator or the party taking your payment. Use the linked provider’s current information and your booking confirmation when making arrangements.
01
This website
Provides destination guides and comparisons to help you understand the experience before booking.
02
The booking provider
Handles the reservation and payment process on its own website, under the terms presented for your booking.
03
The tour supplier
Delivers the activity and provides the departure-specific instructions, equipment requirements and operational arrangements.
Changes, cancellations and refunds
Use the support details in your booking confirmation for reservation questions, amendments, cancellations or refund requests. The applicable conditions are those of the booking platform and supplier, not a general summary on this website.
Read the current terms before purchase. This disclosure does not replace or change the terms of your reservation.
Practical information before purchase
How tours are compared
The comparisons focus on product details that help distinguish one experience from another. A commercial link should be considered alongside those details, not as a guarantee of quality or suitability.
Departure and itinerary
Where the experience starts, how the journey is arranged and whether it is a local excursion or a multi-day trip.
Duration and walking
The advertised overall duration and the walking or terrain information available for the product.
Age and group size
The stated participation requirements and advertised group format. Check the exact rules for the booking you select.
Inclusions
What is listed as included, what visitors need to bring and any additional arrangements to confirm.
The site does not claim a live availability feed or independent safety certification. A featured listing is not a promise that a specific cave, departure or route will be available when you travel.
Read About for the website’s role, or use the tour comparison to examine individual product details.
Understanding the information shown
Photographs and ratings
Photographs show an experience
Supplier photographs may show formations from a previous visit or season. They are not a guarantee of the cave, lighting, ice colour or route you will encounter on your date.
Ratings belong to their source
When a listing rating is displayed, it is attributed to its source and checked date. It is not presented as an original customer rating collected by CrystalIceCave.com.
Use photographs and ratings as context alongside the itinerary, requirements and current booking information. For practical pre-departure checks, see Weather and Conditions.
Connections between guides
Related independent websites
A link to a sister destination guide reflects an editorial relationship. It does not mean that the guide is an official national park resource or endorsed by a tour operator.
A link to another guide is also different from the external booking link through which a reservation may be made. Check which website you are using before entering booking or payment details.
